TESTAMONIES: Eucharistic Adoration

The following remarks were sent to us. Reading them, you will get a sense of the Holy Spirit and what adoration prayer can bring to an individual and to a parish.
"I am really glad that I signed up for this. I can tell after just one morning that this will be something that contributes a lot to my life. Thanks to . . . all the organizers, for helping create this spiritual heart at OLV, and helping make us a more truly Catholic parish." OLV parishioner and school parent

"Fresh from my first go at this yesterday evening, a quick thank you for making this happen. It’s an unusual experience; I was at times on the way to church asking myself ‘why am I doing this,’ somewhat in disbelief! As usual prayer provided answers. Opening the door for the two ladies who were doing the 12—1 AM shift gave a very good feeling of being involved in a chain of faith with fellow parishioners. It’s exciting. I’m looking to swap notes in a year’s time to see where this new experience leads me! . . . Again thanks: when I first heard of perpetual adoration I thought no way will this work . . . maybe fill up a week at best!" OLV parishioner and school parent.
