Chapter Two of the new AC, introduces revelation --- specifically divine revelation. For us to deepen our appreciation of our faith, we need an understanding of what divine revelation is. For me, a reacquaintance with this theological item has served well to reopen what I learned years ago. In each of the experiences or moments of divine revelation I have come to see much more about who our God truly is. I have come to have an appreciation of the graces that God is giving me and you day after day. In the 1st chapter of the AC the authors focused upon our natural reasoning as a means of coming to know something of our God. Now, through the revelations, we can see God gradually revealing Himself to us. His revelation ultimately achieves its fullness in the gift of Jesus Christ. Some divine revelation moments are these: conversation with Moses; dialog with Abraham; moments with Moses, Jeremiah and so forth. All of this happens to show us that God has entered into a "covenant relationship" with us.
