Principals' Convocation

When I was a youngster at St. James School in Mt. Rainier (MD) and we were told that the principal would be away for a "convocation" or a "retreat," we had a laywoman teach who would say: "Okay, you better pray. Sr. Principal is away at a meeting and the principals are planning how to make your life harder." Well, today, our principal, Mrs. Martinez, along with Archdiocesan principals traveled to the outlet center on the ocean, Rehoboth Beach for a convocation. And wouldn't we be disappointed if they do not include shopping. Mrs. Martinez is the colonel directing the week-long event.
