This was the floor pattern at the Mayflower Hotel, Chinese Room. The Holy Sepulchre events were wondeful this year. The Vatican Ambassador to the United States, Archbishop Pietro Sambi, was the guest of honor at the Saturday evening banquet. Before coming to be the Ambassador to the USA, the Archbishop was the "Nuncio" or Ambassador to Israel and Palestine, where the Holy Lands are located. His talks was filled with passion and challnege. If I can get a copy of the speech, I will incorporate the highlight paragraphs in several postings. He did make clear to the Knights and Ladies of the Holy Sepulchre that it is critically important at this time to pray for the Christians who live in Palestine.
