In today's postings on Whispers in the Loggia, the author, Rocco Palmo, posts the address of the Apostolic Nuncio to the American Bishops at the beginning of their meeting in Baltimore on Monday. The Archdbishop presented a serious challenge to the American Episcopacy, noting remarks of Pope Benedict in recent talks to different groups of Bishops visiting in Rome for their ad limina visits. Truly it stands as a strong voice to the Bishops who had the opportunity to hear the recently appointed Nuncio. The Nuncio is the Holy See's Ambassador to the United States. The bishops are well aware that the Archbishop is delivering the sentiments of the Holy Father.
