When I saw this photo this morning, I could not but think of how strong this tree is ... how it must have been like Mother Cabrini. The new AC uses this saint as the introduction piece to Chapter 16 which addresses the Sacrament of Confirmation. Remember "Soldier of Christ?" This is truly what Frances was. Whether deep in the mines in Denver or high on a scaffold when an Italian-American prisoners were about to be hanged. She was always strong, standing out in the developing American world.
