Kevin has returned to Huntingtown from his stay in the hospital. Wife Karen is out of intensive care. Apparently, according to conversation with several Divine Word parishioners, Karen's burn condition was not as severe as initially announced. Again, according to the people who spoke to me, the funeral for son Michael will not be conducted until Karen is able to be present for the liturgy. Unfortunately, the Fire Marshall's office has announced that a smoldering cigarette was the cause of the fire. How painful this will be for Karen and Kevin. Let's continue our prayers to Our Lady of Victory for them.
