Press Office Blunder

Early this morning the Vatican Press Office announced that the remarks addressed to the Swiss Bishops yesterday at the final conclusion of their February, 2005 ad limina visit were in fact the words prepared for delivery by Pope John Paul II. As mentioned, the speech was not delivered because of the Pope's serious medical situation at the time. Today the speech of Pope Benedict XVI will be released by the Press Office. How do you say "humble pie" in Italian???
