On this feast of Sts. Peter and Paul, we cannot overlook what was not discovered until earlier this morning. Today, our Salesian and Croatian brother priest, Fr. Damir, celebrated his 5th anniversary as a priest.
After celebrating 35 years in the priesthood, this priest is trying to decide which of the two saints this wonderful priest has as his model ... after St. John Bosco, founder of the Salesians, of course.
Happy Anniversary, Father Damir. When you leave for your new assignment as the Catholic Chaplain at the University of Zagreb in your native Croatia at the end of this month, there will be a void. Thank you for being the priest that you are today. You are a marvelous model for the youth you have helped in the Croatian Catholic Community.
