Theology on Tap

Moving Forward

Friend, Rocco Palmo, in a recent "Whisper" article, pointed our attention to Theology on Tap as presented in a recent St. Anthony's Messenger article. The Chicago-founded operation has spread its wings across the country. A read of the Messenger article www.catholic.org will introduce you to what has become a great source of community and learning for many young ... and even older ... Catholics.
I suggest this read to support the efforts of our own Director of Religious Education/Youth Ministry, Debbie McNally. Recently she has inaugurated a similar program for the parish: Food for Thought. The program has just begun. It is scheduled for one Sunday evening after the 6:00 PM Mass. The program, at least at this stage, lasts only 45 minutes, addressing one or two particular topics.
Along with our PLS (Parish Lecture Series), this is a great way for young Catholic men and women to share and strengthen our faith. I am sure Debbie would answer any questions about the program. I know that she would be greatly delighted if there were some seriously interested in assisting her with this program.
