Advent is our time of rejoicing! What? That's a new twist, isn't it? As we await the celebration of Christmas Day, are we not reminded throughout the season of Advent that the gift of God in the person of his son, Jesus Christ, is the gift of our redemption. So, indeed we should be rejoicing during these days of waiting and anticipation. Take the time today to recall this gift and thank the Lord. Try to remember, when you can, that the more frequently you align yourself with the Lord, the more you will find the joy and peace that is your gift.Monday, December 11, 2006
